Libby, powered by OverDrive is the newer library reading app by OverDrive with which you can access our NorthNet Library to Go collection with your smartphones, Android tablets, iPads, eReaders, PCs and Macs. Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more and enjoy them from the comfort of your home or on-the-go.
1. Access Libby with your Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge web browser pointed to libbyapp.com/library/northnet or
download the Libby app to your Android, iOS or Fire device from these app stores:

2. Follow the prompts to find Lassen Library in the library list and sign in with your Lassen Library card number
3. Browse the collection and select a title
4. Borrowed titles appear on your Self and download to the app on your device automatically when on Wi-Fi, so you can read them offline.
On your Shelf, tap Loans at the top of the screen. From there you can:
- Tap Read With... to choose whether you'd like to open a book in Kindle or Libby
- Tap Open in Libby, Open Magazine, or Open Audiobook to start reading or listening in the app
- Tap Manage Loan to see options like Renew Loan and Return Early
