Librarians' Internet Index (LII) is a publicly-funded website and weekly newsletter serving California, Washington state, the nation, and the world. The entire site is vast collection of more 20,000 resources providing information in 14 main subject groups. The education section provides links to various resources that are specific to education.
FREE is among the most popular K-12 websites maintained by the U.S. Department of Education because of the more than 1,500 federally supported teaching and learning resources offered by dozens of participating federal agencies.
Awesome Library organizes the Web with 37,000 carefully reviewed resources, including the top 5 percent in education, for students, teachers and parents.

Gale Virtual Reference Library
Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office).

Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is a non-profit membership organization of families who home school their children nationwide. Its strength lies in its attention to active law cases and both state and federal legislation dealing with home schooling; the site also includes links to related news articles.
National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI) conducts and collects research about homeschooling and publishes the research journal called the Home School Researcher. The institute has hundreds of research works documented and catalogued on home schooling, many of which were done by NHERI.

Federal Student Aid's core mission is to ensure that all eligible individuals benefit from federal financial assistance—grants, loans and work-study programs—for education beyond high school.
Scholarshiphelp.org provides information free of charge to educate students about scholarship access and the necessary requirements for achieving maximum financial aid.
Peterson's provides an estimated 105 million consumers annually with information about colleges and universities, career schools, graduate programs, distance learning, executive training, private secondary schools, summer opportunities, study abroad, financial aid, test preparation, essay editing and instruction as well as resume writing, and career exploration. Free registration is required for most services. Services are both free and fee-based.
